Acknowledgements
The original letters, photographs, artifacts selected for this exhibit are from the Sr. Helen Prejean Papers and were on display in DePaul University's Special Collections and Archives from May 2012 through January 2013. All item captions and section captions were written by Helen Fedchak, DePaul University Special Collections and Archives Assistant, and curator of the physical exhibit.
This digital exhibit was organized by Morgen MacIntosh Hodgetts, DePaul University Special Collections and Archives Archivist/Librarian in April 2013 with proofreading assistance by DePaul University Archivist, Andrea Bainbridge.
The digitization of the letters, photographs, documents, and objects was completed by staff members in DePaul Library's Digital Projects Department with supervision by Michael Donovan, Image Collection Supervisor. Descriptive metadata for each item in the exhibit was entered into DePaul University Library instance of CONTENTdm by Helen Fedchak and Kevin Endres, DePaul University Library Digital Metadata Assistant. DePaul University Metadata Librarian, Renata Schneider, assigned subject headings to each item and performed a review of all descriptive metadata assigned.
Some last names and addresses have been redacted for this digital exhibit.
This exhibit was revised in March 2015 due to Omeka.net upgrades.
