Their Legacy
Although Philip, Jerome, and Daniel Berrigan passed away in 2002, 2015, and 2016 respectively, their example of Christian nonviolent activism continues around the world and throughout the United States.
This section highlights some of the ways that Phil, Dan, and Jerry's legacy is carried on by new generations of peacemakers, the Jonah House Community, DePaul University Special Collections, and Archives, and the dozens of Plowshares actions since September 1980.
