The library at Schmitt Academic Center: 1968
Built in 1968, the Schmitt Academic Center became the first building in which the various library collections from across campus were consolidated. The Library took up the third and flourth floors of SAC.
The floor plan shows the layout of the third floor, which included the reference area, the card catalog, the circulation desk, and rare books. The photographs show various spaces of the library in the mid-1980's.
