Signpost Covers

First published in 1949, the Signpost was an orientation guide made for students by students. The booklet was distributed to all freshmen and contained information about campus life, school policies, activities, and societies. For decades the publication was woven into the hazing tradition along with the enforcement of beanie wearing. Freshmen were required to carry the Signpost at all times or face penalties in Kangaroo Court. The Signpost was discontinued in the mid-1980s.
